Work Type Setup
The core of the Business Analyzer is setting up work types. A minimum of one project is required and there is no limit to the number that can be set up. If the only thing the company does is drill 100 foot bore holes, there will be only one work type. Most firms are more diversified so there will be more types including pump installations, service calls, and bore holes of different depths.
Basic parameter must be entered such the number of jobs to be done, the average distance to the job site, and for drilling jobs, the estimated feet drilled per hour. Once these are established, necessary parts, labor and equipment are added.
